What do you do with thousands of pounds of steel re-bar? Make a platea, of course!

The "platea" is like a floating cement slab that will be the foundation for the ministry center in Cienfuegos. Recently many truck loads of this re-bar were delivered to the work site to prepare the platea.

In March we have a team traveling to the Dominican Republic. Of course we will visit the building site but we will also be visiting the churches that are supported by Haitian Ministries in and around the Santiago area. We will also be participating in the annual Haitian convention that brings 500-700 people together for a day of praise, fellowship, prayer, and food. This is always a fantastic celebration honoring God and what He has done for us.

As we travel this year our focus will be on leadership training and developing deeper relationships with the pastors, leaders, and congregations that we have been visiting for the past 13 years. How can Haitian Ministries be more effective? How can we be more committed and serve in a more intentional way?

1 Corinthians 4:2 says, "Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful"

We ask for continued prayers that we are good stewards of the what God has given us, and that we remain faithful in the task He has set before us.

Beni soi L'Eternal!
